The upcoming Reunited Anniversary Congress of Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Balneoclimatology, to be held in Bucharest, at the Palace of Parliament, from June 02 to June 05, 2025, organized by the Romanian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and Balneoclimatology, the Romanian Association of Balneology and the National Institute of Rehabilitation, Physical Medicine, and Balneoclimatology has a remarkable emotional weight because aside the scientific program, planned to be dense and topical, will celebrate six important anniversaries:

ü  25 years since the (former) Institute of Physical Medicine, Balneoclimatology and Medical Rehabilitation became the National Institute of Rehabilitation, Physical Medicine and Balneoclimatology.

ü  50 years since the founding of the Neurorehabilitation Division of the (ex) Clinical Hospital ”Gheorghe Marinescu” – at present, the Teaching Emergency Hospital ”Bagdasar-Arseni” from Bucharest;

ü  20 years since the upgrade of the Neurorehabilitation Division of the Teaching Emergency Hospital ”Bagdasar-Arseni” to a University Clinic Division, denominated as the Clinic Division for Neuromuscular Rehabilitation

ü  15 years since the foundation of the Romanian Association of Balneology;

ü  20 years since the foundation of the Rehabilitation, Physical Medicine and Balneology Clinic Division of the Teaching Clinical Ilfov County Emergency Hospital;

ü  and last but not least - 10 years since the foundation of the Romanian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and Balneoclimatology

The Congress will approach different topics ranging from Rehabilitation in essential Clinical domains to fundamental research and to professional multifaceted use of natural physical/chemical sanogenic/therapeutic-rehabilitative factors.
