THE 47^th ISMH CONGRESS

ROMANIA, TECHIRGHIOL 2024

Esteemed Colleagues,

On behalf of ISMH - International Society of Medical Hydrology and Climatology we have the honour to announce the 47^th World Congress that will be held in Romania, Techirghiol Balneal Resort, between May the 23rd – 25th, 2024.

In 2024, Techirghiol Balneal and Rehabilitation Sanatorium turns 125 years old of unceasing balneal medicine.

The ISMH congress will by organised in this celebration atmosphere conjoin with Techirghiol Balneal and Rehabilitation Sanatorium, Romanian Association of Balneology, Romanian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and Balneoclimatology.            

Romanian - National scientific activity will be held between May 21^st and 22^nd and will continue May 23^rd – 24^th with 47^TH ISMH congress.

Arrival - To reach Romania you will fly to Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport or to Constanta Mihail Kogalniceanu International Airport.

Transfer from Bucharest airport to Techirghiol:

-          by train – from airport to Bucharest North Railway station, continuing to Constanta Railway Station and Techirghiol;

-          by bus - airport – Techirghiol;

-          by minibus – Airport – Techirghiol - at participants` request;

Transfer from Constanta airport to Techirghiol:

-          by minibus at participants` request;

Venue/Congress location

Techirghiol Balneal and Rehabilitation Sanatorium will host the scientific sessions and E-poster session in its conference room.

Accommodation in hotels and villa in Techirghiol.

ISMH Congress participation fee for members:

Early registration up to February 15^th  - 125 €.

February 16^th – May 15^th 200 €

May 20^th up to the end of congress – 250 €

ISMH Congress participation fee for non- members

Early registration up to February 15^th - 200 €

February 16^th  – May 20^th 275 €

May 20^th up to the end of congress – 325 €

The participants are asked to announce up to December 15^th 2023 their intention to participate at 47^th ISMH Congress by e-mail at ismh2024@bioclima.ro. The massage will contain name, and preliminary title of paperwork.

-use of natural therapeutic factors (thalassotherapy, hydrotherapy/balneotherapy, inhale therapy, drinking mineral waters);

-view of long-COVID treatment in balneology;
